MLDi Story
The Marv Leadership Development Initiative (MLDi) is a value-based NGO focused on raising a new generation of young folks who live with meaning, strong morals, and real influence.
We believe that society is shaped by three powerful forces:
Life (Cosmos): the world we live in and the systems that shape our daily lives,
Faith: what people believe, what guides them, and what they build their lives on, and
Chaos: society’s moral fabric and culture versus personal conviction.
Our work is to educate, inspire, and build a community of youth whose lives reflect godly values and disciplined action. We help young people think differently, live differently, and influence their world positively.
It all began with me recording Marvel’s Diary podcast episodes on my phone, pushing a new mindset to as many as would listen. Friends started calling, sharing how the content gave them clarity and helped them start what they had been delaying. In 2025, we hosted our first live event, The Gathering by MD, and the testimonies confirmed we could do more.
Today, through Apologetics & Dogma tours, The Gathering, Prayer Party, the Marvel’s Diary podcast, Initiates Fellowship (book clubs/academy), and practical CSR support, we are building a movement of daring young people who believe in God, believe in purpose, and are ready to put in the work.
MLDi Vision
To influence Life (Cosmos), Faith (belief systems), and Chaos (morals and culture) by raising young men and women of godly values, strong discipline, and positive societal influence across Africa and around the world.
To reach at least 400 million youths across Africa and beyond, with 100 million actively in our communities, book clubs, networks, and programs.
We focus on students leaving secondary school, tertiary learners, young adults navigating life, whether they've seen the inside of a classroom or not

Founder’s Note
My name is Marvel Olagunju also known as M.D. I am the Founder and Executive Director of MLDi. What drives me is the need to provide clarity, there's a huge load of noise and bad influence everywhere, leftist are radical and destroying life's, also deep conviction that young people can do far better when given the right push. I started this work because I saw too many talented youths waiting for things to fall on their laps instead of taking responsibility. Through MLDi, I and the team am committed to giving that small but powerful push, so that many more can believe again, live with purpose, and influence their world positively.
Our Structure
MLDi is officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as The Incorporated Trustees of Marv Leadership Development Initiative.
We are governed by a Board of Trustees and an Advisory Council.
