What is the Marv Leadership Development Initiative (MLDi)?
MLDi is an initiative focused on youth leadership development through education of the mind. We help young people reengineer their minds, restore clarity, overcome learned helplessness, and move away from blame culture. We blend apologetics and dogma with practical leadership skills so young people can believe in themselves again and take responsibility for their future.
How did MLDi start?
It started with Marvel using his phone (XR) to record podcast episodes (Marvel’s Diary). He was pushing a new mindset to as many people as possible. Friends started calling to thank me because the content was helping them. In 2025 we decided to host our first event, The Gathering by MD. The feedback was so strong, people said it gave them clarity and helped them start what they had been delaying. That’s when we knew we could help more persons, shape more lives, and make the initiative official. We registered and MLDi was born, our testimony is a chnaged life.
What kind of programs do you run?
We run a mix of events, content, and support that actually touch real lives: -Campus/City Apologetics & Dogma tours -Yearly events like The Gathering and Prayer Party -Marvel’s Diary podcast -Initiates Fellowship (our book club & mentorship circles) -CSR relief projects (school fees help, boreholes, pads, food support etc) -Invention Hubs and clean networking concerts -Initiates Once in two Month Fellowships (for those in the community) Everything is designed to give young people both inspiration and practical steps.
Who is MLDi really for, and how does it help them?
We mainly serve young people aged 15–30, university students, fresh graduates, secondary school leavers, and young adults who may not even be in school. Many feel stuck, hopeless, or like “nothing I do matters.” Through our programs, they gain mental clarity, start taking responsibility for their future, break procrastination, and often begin new goals, careers, or habits. Some have moved into moral jobs like cybersecurity, others started reading consistently or began volunteering, all because one small shift in mindset changed everything.
How can I get involved or support MLDi?
There are many ways! You can: -Join our next campus tour or any of our event -Become part of the Initiates Fellowship (our mentorship community) -Volunteer or mentor -Share our podcast (Marvel's Diary) with friends -Support us financially or through CSR partnership (every giving helps us reach more young people) Just head to the “Contact” page or send us a mail or a DM on any of our socials, we’d genuinely love to hear from you and find the best way to work together.
